The Mitsubishi Xpander has been lauded as one of the best-selling multipurpose vehicles of its segment for several years now. In fact, in its first year alone when it was introduced in 2018, it already sold 13,494 units.
That’s why it was the vehicle of choice for businessman, Joseph Sardalla.
Being a young family man with a garments business, Sardalla chose the Xpander for its solid sport-ute styling, comfort and drivability that go along with its spacious and versatile interiors.
Together with his wife, Kirtsy, he utilizes the seven-seater as their main mode of transportation going in and outside of the metro. It has also been useful in delivering materials for their clothing business.
“We use it in our day-to-day transactions, going in and out of the metro, and when going to church,” Joseph shared.
“Also, in loading our various goods for our garments, it has been a reliable transporter,” he added.
With just a couple of years since they purchased the Xpander, Joseph recalled how they were able to decide on the vehicle amid a slew of other MPV choices in the segment.
“After checking the reviews and the specs, we thought that it really fits our family requirements because of the space, which is good for seven people. It also has a lot of compartments,” he divulged.
“Aside from the futuristic designs and specifications, its built-in leather seats are also perfect since we have a baby.”
Moreover, according to Joseph, the vehicle’s cruise control, nimble steering, safety features and adjustable legroom are all an added plus.
“Compared to other MPVs, for me, it ranks first because of its technology, aesthetics and space,” he continued.
Asked what memorable experiences he could share while driving the Xpander, he shared: “There was this one time, when we used it to maximize its space and loaded about 700 kilos, it was easy peasy.”
“Also, when we traveled to Batangas during the pandemic, and there were lots of checkpoints and delays that time, it took us a total of 10 hours before we were able to get to our destination,” he said.
“But good thing, it was so convenient and so comfortable inside, we were still all relaxed.”
Overall, for him, the Mitsubishi Xpander is the top choice for young family men like him for it epitomizes the ideal stylish family-oriented seven-seater MPV.
