Isuzu finally debuted a full electric truck in Japan last month.
Good thing, Isuzu Philippines Corporation (IPC) will be able to bring in a sample unit here for a media preview soon.
This was disclosed to us by an IPC Japanese executive after its recent D-Max and mu-X launch in Ayala, Alabang.
From what we know, the all-electric production model is based on its N-Series or more known as “The Elf” line. The 2025 model year Class 5 truck features a full 19,500-pound gross vehicle weight rating, a battery electric platform developed by Isuzu Motors Limited. Not to mention an all-new cab design.
The N-Series EV is powered by a number of 20-kilowatt-hour, lithium-ion battery packs. It has several options from three, five, seven and nine battery pack models.
This truck is set to be available in the first half of 2024.
As per the executive, more details will be divulged soon.
