Drivers go for the big prize in 3rd and final leg of Toyota Gazoo Racing Vios Cup this weekend

The 2021 season of the Toyota Gazoo Racing (TGR) Vios Cup hits its climax this weekend, Nov. 6 and 7, at the Clark International Speedway in Pampanga with the chase for all the circuit championships still up in the air, ensuring very exciting races as drivers go for broke in the culminating leg.
In the Super Sporting Class, Gerard Loy of R Racing/Toyota Dagupan, will try to protect his slim 8-point lead. Loy currently has a total of 90 points entering the third and final leg with Estefano Rivera of Toyota Balintawak (82 points) and Red Diwa of JBT Racing/Toyota Isabela (73 points) not too far behind. Fourth running Bryan Co of R Racing/Toyota Dagupan also has an outside chance to upstage his teammate as he is just 25 points behind.
In the Sporting Class, its going to be a duel of Obengers drivers with Inigo Anton of Toyota North Edsa-Obengers Racing team still beatable despite his 107 points total. Julian Tang of Toyota Marilao-Obengers Tracing Team is second with 89 points. Jacob Ang of Eagle Cement Racing Team (75 points) will only have to watch out for Joaquin Garrido of Toyota Otis-Obengers Racing Team who might snatch a podium finish with his 55 points.


It will be an exciting finish in the Promotional Class as points are still too close for the podium contenders. Leader Jiro Garbes of JBT Racing/Toyota San Fernando (81 points) must protect his slim lead against Maila Alivia of JBT Racing/Toyota Isabela (79 points) and even Julia Delos Angeles of TSJ-Obengers racing Team (66 points). Toyota Gazoo Racing PH’s Troy Montero (56 points) and Fabio Ide (54 points) and even Royce Sarmiento of RMS Cars Racing Team (52 points) are sure to put up a fight for their place in the podium.
Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) is inviting racing fans, car enthusiasts and everyone who’s looking for a fun and thrilling way to spend their weekend to grab this year’s 3rd and final chance to witness racers from different classes outwit each other on the race track. Also being held this weekend is the Autocross Challenge.
