Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation (MMPC) has officially launched the refreshed 2025 Mirage G4, bringing a host of new enhancements while retaining its reputation as a practical, stylish, and fuel-efficient subcompact sedan for the local market. Carrying the new tagline “Everyday Made Stylish,” the updated Mirage G4 comes with modern exterior and safety upgrades, as it continues to solidify its place as one of the best-selling models in the market.

Among the key updates are LED projector headlights and tail lights for the GLX CVT and GLS CVT variants, as well as a new machine-finished two-tone alloy wheel design across all trims. Safety is also enhanced with Hill Start Assist and Active Stability Control now made standard in all variants, ensuring better handling on inclined or slippery roads. Retaining its tried-and-tested 1.2-liter MIVEC engine paired with either a 5-speed manual or CVT, the Mirage G4 continues to deliver the outstanding fuel economy that makes it ideal for everyday city driving.

Inside, the Mirage G4 maintains its comfort and convenience features, including wired Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, a spacious 450-liter trunk, and premium additions such as keyless operation, reverse camera, automatic climate control, and dual SRS airbags. These upgrades make the new Mirage G4 more appealing to buyers who want a worry-free, value-packed ride.

Still proudly assembled at Mitsubishi’s Santa Rosa, Laguna plant, the Mirage G4 plays a key role in supporting local employment and automotive manufacturing in the Philippines. Available in three variants—GLX MT (₱793,000), GLX CVT (₱841,000), and GLS CVT (₱937,000), it continues to offer one of the most competitive pricing ranges in the subcompact sedan segment.

In terms of market performance, the Mirage G4 remains a major contributor to MMPC’s sales success. In fiscal year 2024, MMPC achieved a record 91,639 retail sales, up by over 12 percent year-on-year, and securing the company’s position as the second-largest car brand in the Philippines. Of that total, the Mirage G4 led with 26,313 units sold. It remains one of the top-performing subcompact sedans in the country.
