Engr. Jose Reynaldo Cube, a graduate of the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Pasig (PLP) who made it to the Top 3 of the Electronics Technician (ECT) board exams in October 2023, is the first recipient of our Angat Pangarap program.
An initiative launched in 2022 in partnership with the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Pasig (PLP) and the Pasig City LGU, the Angat Pangarap aims to inspire students toward academic excellence as it pledges to reward top board passers from PLP.
Since the start of the project, PLP has noted a significant boost in student motivation and academic performance, reflected in higher scores on board exams compared to previous years. For instance, in the October 2024 ECT board examinations, PLP achieved a passing rate of 91.67% compared to 75% in October 2023.
SEAOIL is excited to recognize more dedicated scholars like Engr. Cube, who exemplify academic excellence and inspire their peers to reach new heights.
The cheque awarding ceremony was graced by SEAOIL President for Retail Business & CFO Mark Yu, SEAOIL Vice President for Corporate & Consumer Marketing Jayvee Dela Fuente, and PLP’s Dean for College of Engineering Engr. Godofredo Zapanta.
