Isuzu Philippines Corporation recently introduced its latest enhanced safety tech features in the 2024 Isuzu mu-X. Particularly, it now set a new benchmark with the introduction of the first-in-class Digital Video Recorder (DVR), allowing owners to record up to 11 hours of video from both its front and rear cameras, without the need for aftermarket dashcam installations. This innovation ensures vehicle warranty integrity while providing added security and convenience.
This was demonstrated in a controlled area in a recent media drive.
Together with this new gadget, IPC also showcased the 360-degree Around View Monitor (AVM), a cutting-edge system that provides drivers with a comprehensive view of the vehicle’s perimeter, aiding in navigating tight parking spots and making difficult turns with ease. This goes along with the improved blind spot monitoring system, capable of detecting vehicles or motorcycles in the driver’s blind spot, which helps in reducing the risk of accidents during lane changes or turns.
The 2024 Isuzu mu-X also boasts Wireless Connectivity compatible with Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto®, integrated into its 10.1-inch Infotainment system.
The vehicle has a 5-star ASEAN NCAP safety rating, notably for its Advanced Driver Assist System (ADAS) with SMART DUO Camera, as it is designed to elevate the driving experience and provide unparalleled protection for both its occupants and its surroundings.
