The Isuzu D-Max has been loved by Filipinos since its inception in 2003. This is probably due to its sheer reliability, durability and fuel-efficiency. In fact, for this year, according to Isuzu Philippines Corporation, it aims to sell 10,000 units of the D-Max. This is in line with its ambitious total sales target of 18,000 units for all its models by the end of the year.

And to even make things more exciting, IPC recently unveiled a special limited edition of this D-Max at the Blue Leaf Cosmopolitan events place in Pasig City.

With its newest upgrades, this new D-Max Limited Edition is a combination of both style and performance.

Per IPC, only 200 units are made available for this special variant.

“The new Isuzu D-Max Limited makes the already appealing D-Max pickup even more attractive to those looking for added character on their vehicle,” IPC president Tetsuya Fujita said.

“Designed with uniqueness and individuality in mind, this vehicle is fit for those with a deeper passion in life, especially the adventurous type,” he added.

On its exterior, this new D-Max Limited dons a massive newly-designed Blackout Grille, highlighted by its eye-catching red Isuzu logo. This is complemented by its high wheel arches and robust bumpers exuding that macho appeal. On its side, it is adorned by gray streak body graphics with red limited logos, extending all the way to its tailgate. New sidestep boards further add, not just to its aggressive exterior, but also for non-slip easy ingress and egress of its driver and passengers.

For improved performance and stability, this D-max is fitted with 17-inch Satin Black Finish Alloy Wheels wrapped in 265/70 R17 All-Terrain tires, coupled by Monotube Nitrogen Charged Performance Shock Absorber with rigid rear shackles, increasing its ground clearance to 260mm.

“This makes the D-Max stand tall among the competition,” IPC assistant division head for sales, Robert Carlos, meantime, shared as he further discussed the details of the iconic workhorse.
