After officially launching the all-new Zenix and the newest Wigo in the local market, Toyota Motor Philippines today announced that it has another new offering up its sleeve.
The Japanese carmaker confirmed that it will be introducing another of its newest nameplate locally, the all-new Toyota Yaris Cross.
TMP is offering the Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV) variant of this new crossover SUV. This is in line with its goal of constantly expanding electrified vehicle options for Filipino customers. Gas variants of this model will also be made available.
According to TMP, it is its “best-packaged electrified vehicle yet”. And with this, expect it to make electrified vehicle adoption more practical and accessible. This is for customers who are looking for a more sustainable mobility option fit for their needs, passions and lifestyle.
“We believe that the upcoming introduction of the All-New Yaris Cross will further boost the current evolving era of electrified mobility in the Philippines,” said Danny Cruz, TMP First Vice President for Vehicle Sales Operations.
“The HEV variant of the All-New Yaris Cross is further strengthening our widest lineup of electrified vehicles, and giving our customers an easier route to shift to high quality and reliable electrified mobility technology.”
The expansion of its electrified vehicle offerings is part of TMP’s “multiple pathway approach” to help achieve carbon neutrality in the mobility sector.
It is set to publicly debut at the Amphitheater, Bonifacio High Street at BGC in Taguig on August 4, 2023.
The event is open to everyone who wants to experience TMP’s wide variety of HEVs. This includes the Camry, Corolla Altis, Corolla Cross, RAV4 and the recently launched Zenix HEV.
The Yaris Cross will also be unveiled in all dealerships nationwide on this date.
The crossover is priced at P1,199,000 for the G gas variant, while the Hybrid variant starts at P1,598,000.00.
