Yamaha has not only proven its flair in the realm of motorsports, but also in the world of spectacle as it stood out at the recent Inside Racing Bike Festival held at the World Trade Center in Pasay City.
For three days, the motorcycle giant with its brand slogan: “Revs your heart” was a master showman, pulling out all the stops to entertain visitors and accommodate its customers.
“For us, this is really an important opportunity to get in touch directly to our riders and customers because our ultimate goal is we want to develop and create the bike culture here in the Philippines,” Yamaha Motor Philippines president Hiroshi Koike shared during opening ceremonies of the event.
“What we offer is not a simple tool to just bring people from point A to point B. We want people to enjoy and get the feeling of joy in riding a motorcycle,” he continued.

On its first day, YMPH unveiled the redesigned Yamaha Mio Gravis and brand-new Yamaha XMax. The former is now upgraded to be more dynamic to suit the premium and active lifestyle of today’s riders. The latter—meantime—was created to provide a superb combination of aesthetics, performance and agility.
The new Mio Gravis gets an upgraded front design layout bannered by its bigger headlamps, while still packing the same 125cc air-cooled single cylinder engine, producing 9.38hp and 9.5N-m of torque. Now tagged at P93, 900, it provides new color options, such as: Matte Black, Matte Brown and Glam Petrol.
Meanwhile, the new XMax, is now equipped with a new body design and smartphone connectivity. At its centerpiece are its new 4.3-inch LCD instrument display and new X-shaped front headlamps, while being powered by the same 292-cc Blue core single-cylinder engine that churns out 27.6hp and 29N-m of torque. It is priced at P299,500.

Together with these new models were other motorcycles in its 28-unit massive display lineup.
Also, during its three-day stint, Yamaha was able to hold a test ride of its motorcycles, hosted a Yclub lounge and a service area for its club members, patrons and riders.
In conclusion, Koike said: “ ‘Revs your heart’ is not just a simple brand slogan. It is our mission and our commitment to ‘rev the heart’ of every Filipino.”
