Singapore’s largest annual Yuletide festival returns to Gardens by the Bay

Gardens by the Bay stands as one of Singapore’s most iconic landmarks. From December 2 to January 1, Singapore’s biggest yuletide fair, Christmas Wonderland, is an experience that gives visitors the opportunity to see an iconic destination in a different light.
Upon entry, visitors will immediately be struck with a display of lights and sounds, with a variety of photo and food options to choose from. Visitors are spoiled for choice with not only six festive zones, but various light displays such as Whimsical Windmill display set in a field of candy canes, as well as walks around Merry Lane and 50,000 programmable LED light bulbs at the Walk of Lights tunnel.
This event is definitely best experienced with family and friends, with the addition of Carnival Games, a carousel, and chances to meet Santa. There is no shortage of photo opportunities at the event, as visitors can constantly explore the different areas and find something new every time.
The definite highlights of the event are the Garden Rhapsody Light Show and a 21 meter tall Spalliera the height of five double-decker buses. The light show starts at selected times throughout the night, and the Supertrees light up to the beat of iconic Christmas tunes. It was truly magical to see the colors of the trees change to different songs. Additionally, the Spalliera is a must see; the intricacy of the different designs built into its structure recalls the festivals and churches in the Philippines in both scale and grandeur. Both attractions tower over visitors and simply amaze one with their magnitude, making for a truly memorable way to celebrate Christmas.
Tickets to Christmas Wonderland start from S$8 and are now available via www.christmaswonderland.sg and official ticketing partner KKday. If you want to catch a glimpse of these unmissable attractions, visit Christmas Wonderland early to enjoy up to 33% off the regular ticket price.
