After a long silence, Tata Motors was back on the local motoring radar with the launch of its all-new Tata Intra V10 commercial vehicle.
Through its authorized Philippine distributor, Pilipinas Autogroup Inc. Tata Motor says that its ‘Premium Tough’ design philosophy is a product of many years of intensive study of the local market. The Intra V10 is developed on a modular platform that addresses key requirements of business owners particularly in the Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) segment.
The Intra V10’s flexible platform allows it to become the ideal vehicle for multiple cargo and passenger mobility and can be configured to be an aluminum container van, mobile kitchen, stake van and patrol van amongst others.
With Tata Motors’ nationwide dealership network of sales, service and spare parts, making it an ideal choice even first-time owners. Claiming a 16 km per liter fuel consumption, the Intra V10 is built on a hydro forming chassis frame with a reinforced cabin, which means it has increased structural strength, durability and provides lower NVH levels.
Its walkthrough cabin comes with comfortable seats and a dashboard-mounted gear lever enabling easy and fatigue-free driving. It has one of the segment-leading cargo rooms and Tata Motors promises an overall lower cost of maintenance.
Powered by a fuel-sipping 2-cylinder 798cc direct injection diesel engine, it has a rating of 40HP and 96Nm of peak-torque to be able to have a payload capacity of 800kg. Other features include hydraulic assisted power steering, ventilated front disc brakes and rear drum brakes, heating ventilation and air conditioned cabin and even an integrated music system.

Ownership of the Intra V10 is made easier, it carries an extended warranty of 3 years or 120,000km with a 3-year scheduled service package up to 45,000km is offered to ensure a hassle-free ownership experience.
It was also announced that Tata Genuine Parts is also now available online on Lazada for delivery throughout Philippines.
