MG ZS owner Mary Rose Ellaine Flores heaps praise on MG PH’s collaboration with MG car clubs to ensure the best aftersales service
In all of their 22,000-kilometer journey together thus far, Mary Rose Ellaine Flores and her 2020 MG ZS Style AT have gone through extremes, and emerged victorious.
She entered her MG in a car show competition just this Feb. 12, and became a podium finisher in three major categories: Best in street customization, runner up for heavy modified audio, and 2nd runner up as the “loudest SUV”.
Before that, her MG proved it wasn’t just for show when she and her companions went on a trip to Liliw and Nagcarlan in Laguna province, and didn’t expect the going to get so rough.
“We went through a hell of a rough road going to Yambo Lake. It was fun, and I never expected my MG ZS to perform that well,” she said.
Ellaine, 42, is a national sales manager of an international hair care brand, a marketing consultant, philanthropist, and co-founder of the MG Pilipinas Car Club. And, quite obviously, she’s a car enthusiast who dabbles in DIYs and customizations, and her favorite car to modify also happens to be her daily ride.
“I was fascinated by the MG ZS’ looks. It was love at first sight. It had the curves in all the right places, and the legroom was spacious,” Ellaine says of her MG. She also stressed that she was well-aware of the legacy the MG brand had built in its birthplace the United Kingdom.
It was this legacy she had foremost in mind when she was on the market for a new car in 2020. She considered options such as the Suzuki Swift, Mitsubishi Xpander, Honda CR-V and Geely Coolray. When Ellaine ultimately went for the MG ZS, she bid Sayonara to her 1999 Lancer.
From the time she drove the first mile with her MG, up to now, Ellaine heaps the highest praise on the fellowship between MG’s exclusive Philippine distributor The Covenant Car Company Inc (TCCCI) and MG car owners.
“What I like most about the brand is how TCCCI and MG Philippines collaborate with MG car clubs to give the best aftersales service. As for the dealerships, I like how MG agents handle aftersales. They have very helpful technical teams providing options and educating owners on proper maintenance,” she enumerated.
Speaking of collaborations, Ellaine does suggest that “dealers can improve their price points with their materials for PMS, and the availability of parts as well.”
As for the car itself, Ellaine’s MG ZS couldn’t be in better hands.
